Wake Tech's Fall graduation ceremonies are set for 9 a.m., 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday on Scott Northern Wake Campus. Family and friends unable to attend in person can watch the ceremonies live online.
The Computed Tomography Certificate prepares students to use specialized equipment to visualize cross-sectional anatomical structures and help physicians identify diseases and abnormalities.
Individuals entering the program must be registered or registry-eligible radiologic technologists, radiation therapists or nuclear medicine technologists.
Course work prepares the student to provide patient care and perform studies using imaging equipment in scheduled and emergency procedures:
Students also will learn through academic and clinical studies how to communicate professionally with patients, their families and physicians.
