Wake Tech's Fall graduation ceremonies are set for 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. Saturday on Scott Northern Wake Campus. Family and friends unable to attend in person can watch the ceremonies live online.
The Computed Tomography curriculum prepares students to use specialized equipment to visualize cross-sectional anatomical structures and aid physicians in the demonstration of pathologies and disease processes. Individuals entering this curriculum must be registered or registry-eligible radiologic technologists, radiation therapists or nuclear medicine technologists.
Course work prepares the technologist to provide patient care and perform studies utilizing imaging equipment in scheduled and emergency procedures:
Students also will learn through academic and clinical studies how to communicate professionally with patients, their families and physicians.
