College Closed Tuesday Due to Weather

All Wake Tech campuses are closed Tuesday due to inclement weather. Students taking in-person classes should check with their instructors for more information. Online classes continue as scheduled. Many Wake Tech student services, including Admissions and Advising, are available online at virtualsupport.waketech.edu. Wake Tech employees who can work remotely should do so.

Certificate Programs

  • The Basic Facilities Technology I Certificate is designed for individuals wishing to learn about air conditioning, heating and electrical wiring.

  • The Basic Facilities Technology II Certificate is designed for individuals seeking more knowledge of electrical wiring, print reading and workplace safety.

  • The Electrical Systems Certificate is designed for individuals wishing to advance their knowledge of electrical wiring. Course work includes residential wiring, commercial wiring and the National Electric Code.

  • The HVACR Certificate is designed for individuals wishing to advance their knowledge of air conditioning-refrigeration-heating operation and maintenance.
