Carpooling to Campus

Form a carpool with Wake Tech classmates, colleagues or neighbors – it’s a great way to improve your commute and go green.

Preferred parking spaces for carpoolers are located on some Wake Tech campuses:

  • Scott Northern Wake Campus - Lot B, Lot E, Lot F, Lot N and Parking Deck 1
  • Perry Health Sciences Campus - All levels of the Wake Tech Parking Deck
  • Western Wake Campus

Wake Tech employees who carpool or use other sustainable transportation methods are eligible for added benefits through GoTriangle:

  • Track your smart commute in the Commute Calendar and earn points that can be redeemed for prizes through the GoPerks incentive program at local businesses like Weaver Street Market and RISE Chicken and Biscuits. You can also earn points for working from home when you track your "non-commute."

  • Employees also can register for the Emergency Ride Home program. You will be able to print a free voucher for a rental car or taxi ride home. You will be responsible only for tips or the cost of the gas used. You may use the service twice in a given month and up to six times per calendar year. Detailed instructions for the service are provided once you register. Students do not qualify for this program.

To obtain your carpool permit and reserve a premier parking spot, email [email protected].
