Congratulations graduates!

Wake Tech's Spring graduation ceremonies are set for 8 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday on Scott Northern Wake Campus. Family and friends unable to attend in person can watch the ceremonies live online.

The Adult High School and High School Equivalency programs will hold their graduation ceremony at 8 p.m. Saturday on Scott Northern Wake Campus. Family and friends can watch it live online as well.

Academic Financial Aid Appeals

Students whose financial aid is suspended for the following reasons may appeal if they have extenuating circumstances that contributed to their poor academic performance:

  • Exceeding the maximum time frame
  • Failure to meet the grade point average (GPA) requirement
  • Failure to meet the completion rate requirement

Students are required to submit documentation to support their explanation.

Students who wish to submit an appeal form must first complete one of these online Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) workshops:

The workshop reviews the basics of SAP and how to complete an appeal form. The appeal form is provided at the end of the workshop on the confirmation page.

SAP appeals are reviewed once all necessary documentation is submitted.

A SAP Calculator is available to assist students in determining the number of credit hours they need to successfully complete in future semesters and the grades they will need to earn to maintain financial aid eligibility.
