Intended Audience
Individuals who need to know what the current trends are for resumes and how to develop a powerful resume.
Students will review and assess their strengths and weaknesses in the context of employment experiences as they learn to customize their resumes to build and convey self-confidence. This course also covers resume organization and formatting, styles, and the role information technology plays in the job search in today's marketplace.
Course Objectives
  1. have learned about three different resume styles and formats;
  2. have gained two items of information on current marketplace and technological trends impacting resume submission;
  3. have reviewed 10 sections that may be used on resumes;
  4. have participated in discussion on how to organize their experience, skills and achievements to communicate self-confidence and hire-ability value.
