Intended Audience
Qualifying individuals who wants to learn how to interview with confidence.
Everyone has strengths and abilities, whatever their age, education, or income level – but few people know how to communicate those strong points to others! As a result, they may go unnoticed and remain unknown to colleagues, supervisors, and prospective employers. This course will show participants how to review their own experiences, highlight accomplishments and successes, and communicate those to others effectively, in interviews and other professional settings.
Course Objectives
  1. Have explored volunteering, work and life experience, work histories and/or resumes to discover past accomplishments
  2. Have translated these into today's terms to meet marketplace need
  3. Have learned techniques to communicate strengths, skills, abilities and individual stories to others
  4. Have constructed job winning answers to interview questions

  1. Introductions and overview of class
  2. Exploring and talking about strengths, skills, abilities and accomplishments
  3. Weaving together work histories, life experiences, resumes
