The Mental Health Intervention Certificate program is designed for individuals whose primary responsibility is not mental health-focused but for whom knowledge of human services and mental health issues and resources would be beneficial.
Professionals and students in the following fields might benefit from completing the certificate:
The certificate is also appropriate for students in other human service-related disciplines, such as psychology, sociology, social work and mental health.
The certificate transfers into the Social & Human Services AAS Degree program for students wishing to earn a two-year degree. Individuals with no prior college experience are encouraged to consider the degree program.
