The Associate in Fine Arts (AFA) in Visual Arts is a university transfer degree designed to prepare students for a BA or BFA in art or design and for professional practice. The AFA Visual Arts Degree is a 60-credit hour program that includes three required core studio art classes: 2D Design, 3D Design and Drawing I. Students may also take elective studio art classes in their planned program of study.
