“The Automotive Systems Technology program at Wake Tech made my dream possible.”

    — Chris Robinson

Nineteen-year-old Chris Robinson loves working on cars and hopes to turn that passion into a successful career.  After struggling at a traditional high school and an out-of-state boarding school, Chris was just two credits shy of a high school diploma when he turned to Wake Tech to help get his life back on track. “I am so grateful for Wake Tech,” he says.

Chris enrolled in Wake Tech’s Adult High School program, which offered just what he needed:  small class sizes and encouraging instructors. Chris made all A’s and received his Certificate of Graduation in just three months. And his journey didn’t end there.

Chris immediately set out on the road to a college degree.  He enrolled in Wake Tech’s Automotive Systems Technology program and devoured everything he could about automobiles.  Now, two-years later, Chris is ready to graduate with an Associate in Applied Science degree. He says Wake Tech gave him the tools to succeed. “The classroom lessons and hands-on training taught me how to service cars out there in the real world,” Chris says. “The Automotive Systems Technology program at Wake Tech made my dream possible.”
