Federal Work Study Interest Form

The Federal Work-Study program (FWS) provides on-campus and near-campus employment opportunities for eligible students. Students are limited to working no more than 20 hours per week.

If you are interested in applying for a Work-Study position, complete the application below. Completing this application does not guarantee you a Work-Study position, however, as the number of positions is limited and based on available funding. Whenever possible, you are encouraged to select a position related to your course of study or tutoring off-campus.

After applying, eligible students will receive an email with instructions at their Wake Tech email accounts. They must then complete the necessary Human Resources paperwork. If hired, a student cannot begin work until he or she has returned the signed referral Work-Study Contract.
