Wake Tech’s two-year Associate in Fine Arts (AFA) degree program prepares students for professional practice or the pursuit of a bachelor's degree in the visual arts. The AFA curriculum focuses on developing students' technical skills, visual observation and material-problem solving.
The program offers additional opportunities for student engagement, such as the AFA Emerging Artist Exhibition, events, workshops and artist talks through the Visual Art Student Engagement Center.
