Shooting and Editing Video on a Smartphone

Think like a director - create video on your smartphone! Learn how to focus on communicating instead of worrying about the equipment. Find out how to capture your ideas creatively with images and sound. Whether you're shooting corporate training videos, creating video news stories, developing video tutorials for students, or making an amateur film, this course will help you improve your final cut. It is intended for those with little or no formal training in video directing, shooting, or production. A video-capable smartphone with a minimum of 16GB of available storage capacity is required.

Produce at least one edited video using only a smartphone and available lighting and sound

Identify the legal issues regarding copyright and privacy

Publish and distribute videos through web sites and social media
