Total COVID-19 Cases at Wake Tech
January 3, 2022 - January 14, 2022
As North Carolina’s largest community college, Wake Tech is currently serving more than 29,000 degree and non-degree students and has nearly 2,000 full and part-time employees. Approximately 65% of Wake Tech students in fall 2021 are online. About 20% are taking face-to-face classes and 15% are taking hybrid classes.
Students and employees are asked to report positive cases to their instructor and/or Human Resources. When a positive case is identified on campus, Human Resources conducts contact tracing and notifies everyone who may be impacted. The affected classroom or building space is closed until the area is deep cleaned and fully sanitized. Read Wake Tech’s Safety Guidelines and Protocols.
