As North Carolina’s largest community college, Wake Tech is currently serving nearly 24,000 degree and non-degree students and has nearly 2,000 full and part-time employees. Approximately 75% of Wake Tech students in spring 2021 are fully online. About 25% are taking hybrid classes, which includes some on-campus time.
Students and employees are asked to report positive cases to their instructor and/or Human Resources. When a positive case is identified on campus, Human Resources conducts contact tracing and notifies everyone who may be impacted. The affected classroom or building space is closed until the area is deep cleaned and fully sanitized. Read Wake Tech’s Safety Guidelines and Protocols.
