Wake Tech Geology Internship
The National Science Foundation (NSF) has funded a research project that is designed to improve student’s awareness of the geosciences, including geology, atmospheric science (meteorology), marine science (oceanography), and paleontology. These exciting fields offer excellent career prospects and expanding job markets for students with an interest in science. One of the goals of this project is to provide better information about work and career opportunities in these fields. The research team includes faculty from NC State University, the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, and Wake Tech.
Those students who have an interest in majoring in one of these areas have the opportunity to participate in a paid summer research experience at the Department of Marine, Earth, and Atmospheric Sciences at NC State University or a paid summer field research experience with the NC Museum of Natural Sciences.
