Wake Tech is closed December 24 through January 4 for winter break and will reopen January 5. Prospective students can still apply for enrollment online during the break, and continuing students can register for Spring semester classes, which start January 7.

Social Sciences Resource Center

Wake Tech Social Sciences Resource Center logo The Social Sciences Resource Center (SSRC) offers a comfortable, inviting place for students studying anthropology, psychology or sociology at Wake Tech to do the following:

  • Spend time between classes
  • Complete assignments
  • Study
  • Connect with peers
  • Get faculty input about courses and programs of study

The SSRC has two locations:

  • Southern Wake Campus
    Building B, Room 250
  • Scott Northern Wake Campus
    Building H, Room 237

Students can schedule a virtual appointment for brief tutoring with a social sciences instructor through Microsoft Teams. A Wake Tech email address and student ID number is needed to reserve a meeting time. You will receive a link to your meeting by email a few minutes before it is scheduled to begin.
