Blackboard Reports are hard. I received clear, concise answers upfront and a walk-through over the phone. I followed with a Teams call with Crystin. She didn't interject as I noted what I thought, and before she confirmed or denied, she listened, really listened, before answering and explaining. Thank you!

A new student and parent came to Advising at 4:55 p.m. recently. Jacinta brought the student and parent back and worked with them until 5:40, even though we close at 5. The student and parent left with all the information they needed, and Jacinta showed her dedication to students and the college!

Carrie L. Garrett
Grace came to Wake Tech scared and anxious. Carrie engaged her about school, being introverted and caring for others. Grace felt so welcomed that she talked all the way home about how excited, engaged and valued she felt compared to two semesters at WCU. Carrie has made a genuine and lasting impact on my daughter.

Aurore Locklear
Professor Locklear has been one of my favorite professors during my time at Wake Tech. From her humor to her ability to clearly communicate complex topics, she has been an inspiration for me. She never fails to answer questions, and no question is ever too basic for her to answer clearly and kindly.
