Professor Karen Klein
Professor Klein is helping her students learn lifelong skills in her MAT143 class. She is making a positive impact in the lives of her students. Her curricula allows students to apply topics learned to their real lives and when the content is relatable like this, the retention is so much higher.

I have to preface I have never met this Professor. This is the first class I‘ve taken with him.He reached out after learning of my diagnosis. His words were so comforting. He made me feel as though I was more than just a student. He fits well with the ranks of WTCC Educators. Thank you Prof Rusczak

ESL Department in College and Career Readiness
In CCR, our performance is measured in very precise terms. This past program year, thanks to the incredible performance of our ESL department, we achieved the best Performance numbers out of any of the big schools in NC and we were 9th overall! All this in the midst of a pandemic! Way to go, ESL!

Pre-COVID, our department offered ~5% of our programming online. Today, 95% of our programming is delivered online, including learners with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities and ESL learners with NO English skills! Our CCR team has made the Impossible Possible! Great Job, everyone!!
