College Closed Tuesday Because of Icy Conditions

All Wake Tech campuses will remain closed Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Students taking in-person classes should check with their instructors for more information. Online classes will continue as scheduled. Many Wake Tech services, including Admissions and Academic Advising, are available virtually at virtualsupport.waketech.edu. Wake Tech employees who can work remotely should do so.

ID Badges and Parking Decals

  • All curriculum Wake Tech students must have an official, college-issued ID badge.
  • Veteran student ID badges are available

Follow these steps to get an ID badge or parking decal:

  1. Complete registration
  2. Pay tuition
  3. Present photo identification (driver's license, passport, military ID, etc.) at one of the offices listed below.
  4. Download, complete and print the vehicle registration form.
    – Students are required to have their vehicle registration cards with them to obtain a Wake Tech parking decal.
    – Gate cards may be obtained at the Perry Health Sciences Campus only.

Also, the North Carolina State Board of Elections has approved the use of Wake Tech student ID badges for voting under the state's voter ID law. Students will be able to show their Wake Tech ID at the polls.
