Wake Tech WARN is the official emergency alert system the college uses to distribute critical emergency information.
In the event of an emergency or inclement weather situation, Wake Tech WARN allows the college to notify students, faculty and staff by the following means:
SMS text message
Students and employees automatically receive Wake Tech WARN messages via Wake Tech email. To receive emergency notifications by phone, students and employees must update their WARN profile in InformaCast using their Wake Tech email. To receive text alerts, add a mobile number under the SMS option. Parents and community members can also register for Wake Tech WARN alerts.
