Student Health Insurance

All curriculum students are covered by accident insurance; costs are included in student fees.

Students who need to purchase health insurance for themselves and their families may participate in a group policy through the Community College Student Insurance, administered by UnitedHealthcare.

Wake Technical Community College does not have a business relationship with UnitedHealthcare. The policy is placed on the webpage “as is” and only as a convenience to students. The college does not recommend, encourage, or promote the products of this company and does not assume responsibility or liability for the accuracy of the information provided. Wake Tech does not collect premiums or administer this policy. Please consult the information below for information on rates, coverage, and how to enroll.

The Community College Student Insurance (CCSI) health plan offers medical, dental, and vision care options, and you may choose any or all of these options.
