Wake Tech operates on a mask-optional policy. Any faculty, staff, students or visitors who want to wear masks on Wake Tech campuses can do so. Disposable masks are available at campus welcome desks, cashier's offices and libraries.
Valid government-issued photo identification is required for admission into the Testing and Assessment Center. Examples of approved IDs are a current driver's license, a passport, a military ID card or a matricular consular card. The testing center does not accept paper renewal slips from the Division of Motor Vehicles. Please wait until you receive the hard copy ID before scheduling an appointment.
Cellphones must be turned off and stored away. The use of phones once testing starts will result in an immediate termination of the exam.
Hats, watches, google glasses and similar items are prohibited during testing because they can conceal test materials and reduce the security of the examination.
Questions and concerns
Talking during testing is prohibited, but if you encounter technical issues or require assistance during testing, please seek help from the test administrator.
