Testing Center at Beltline Education Center

The Testing Center at the Beltline Education Center is committed to supporting workforce skills development by offering industry-recognized assessments and credentialing exams that align with today's labor market. Through the secure, professional testing environment, Wake Tech strives to bridge the gap between education and employment.

The center fosters a quiet, distraction-free environment that promotes a high-quality testing experience for a variety of tests, including TABE assessments, High School Equivalency tests, professional licensing exams and IT certifications.

Testing candidates may park in Lot B, off Bush Street, to enter through the main entrance, where they can get room directions from the receptionist. Additional parking is available in Lot A and Lot C. (View parking map)

Regulations

Identification
Valid government-issued photo identification is required for admission into the Testing Center. Examples of approved IDs are a current driver's license, passport, military ID card or matricular consular card. The Testing Center does not accept paper renewal slips from the Division of Motor Vehicles. Please wait until you receive the hard copy ID before scheduling an appointment.
Cellphones
Cellphones must be turned off and stored away. The use of phones once testing starts will result in an immediate termination of the exam.
Personal items
Hats, watches, Google glasses and similar items are prohibited during testing because they can conceal test materials and reduce the security of the examination.
All test takers are required to use Testing Center-issued lockers to store personal belongings during their exam(s). Alternatively, you may leave your items in your vehicle. The Testing Center is not responsible for lost, stolen or misplaced items.
Questions and concerns
Talking during testing is prohibited, but if you encounter technical issues or require assistance during testing, please seek help from the test administrator.
