High School Equivalency Preparation (HSEP) classes are for students who are seeking a high school credential. Classes are centered on career-based integrated learning, college preparation and skill improvement to enter advanced training in career pathways.

Classes are free and are offered throughout Wake County at the following locations:

Beltline Education Center (BEC) – Day, Afternoon, Evening
Southern Wake Campus  – Day and Evening

Adult Basic Education (ABE)

Students that test out of ESL and want to improve their academic English in reading, writing, math and technology skills may enroll in ABE classes.

Registration begins January 11, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. and January 25, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. registration in room 118. Classes meet from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Late arrivals will not be permitted to register. Placement testing is given at registration to determine class placement, no children are permitted at registration.
