TechHire: Project SECURE We're Training Tech Talent!
Start at your level -- advanced degree not required!
Interested in an IT or cybersecurity job, but you lack training and experience? High tech jobs are not only for people with advanced degrees. Thanks to the largest grant Wake Tech has ever received, qualified students can prepare for in-demand tech jobs, and all coursework, books, registration and testing fees will be covered. The NC Works Career Center will provide job placement support, and local employer partners including SAS, IBM and HCL Technologies are eager to hire trained talent.
I'm joining this program so I can transition out of the business field and into IT. I chose the IT Industry because technology is always changing, and I know the job marketing for IT will continue to grow.
