Wake Tech is closed Monday in observance of Veterans Day. Prospective students can still apply online, and current students can register for Spring semester classes. All classes will resume and offices will reopen on Tuesday morning.
The Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology Fundamentals II Certificate covers non-structural damage, painting and refinishing. The certificate provides students with proper procedures and techniques to repair and refinish vehicles that received light structural damage.
Topics include shop safety, damage analysis, repair techniques, surface preparation, masking, paint application and other related issues.
Students completing the certificate should be able to perform minor structural and non-structural repairs with an emphasis on refinishing applications.
