NOTE: This program is being terminated and isn't accepting new students. Faculty advisors will work with current students to ensure they complete their certificates by May 2027. Prospective students are encouraged to explore the C++ concentration in Wake Tech's Software Development program.
The C++ Programming certificate offers courses for students interested in upgrading their programming skills by acquiring proficiency in an object-oriented programming language.
Overall, the Computer Programming & Development curriculum prepares students to design and develop desktop and web applications. The primary emphasis is hands-on training in programming and related computer areas that provide the ability to adapt as systems evolve.
NOTE: Tuition listed is for in-state students. Out-of-state tuition is higher.
Tuition is set annually by the State Board of Community Colleges. Wake Tech charges various fees in addition to tuition, and individual programs also have specific costs associated with them.
