RALEIGH, N.C. (April 12, 2021) – Registration is now open for summer and fall classes at Wake Tech.
Current degree-seeking students can begin registering for classes today. Registration dates and times are based on the number of completed credit hours. Students can access their priority date in Self Service at register.waketech.edu.

Wake Tech is offering a robust mix of online and hybrid classes for the 10-week summer session that begins May 19. The college invites university students who are home for the summer to take a class at Wake Tech to get ahead on their four-year degree. Accelerated eight- and five-week sessions are available. With the decline in the number of COVID-19 cases and the increased availability of vaccines, Wake Tech is planning to resume full operations this fall. Students will be able to choose in-person, online, or hybrid classes (a mix of in-person and online instruction) just as they have in the past. To provide increased opportunities, the college will also offer an array of accelerated 12 and eight-week classes, in addition to the traditional 16-week semester.
Classrooms and labs will return to regular capacity and in-person student services, resources, sports and activities will resume.
“Life can change in the blink of an eye as we experienced last year with the pandemic,” said John Saparilas, associate vice president of enrollment services. “Many students put their educational dreams and career goals on hold because they needed to focus on other priorities, like health and family. As we begin our return to normalcy, faculty and staff are here and ready to help. A great comeback starts at Wake Tech.”
Wake Tech will continue to carefully monitor state and local data and follow the guidance of health officials on safety protocols such as face coverings and physical distancing. The college is hosting a vaccination clinic on Southern Wake Campus and recommends that all students and employees receive their vaccination. Appointments can be made at starmed.care.
