Summer and Fall Registration Opens as Planned April 13

RALEIGH, N.C. (April 9, 2020) – While Wake Tech campuses remain closed due to the coronavirus, registration for summer and fall curriculum classes is still on schedule.

Current and newly admitted degree-seeking students can begin enrolling for summer and fall courses on Monday, April 13. New and visiting students can apply to the college and learn more about the admissions process at apply.waketech.edu.

Currently, all summer classes will be offered online, but the college could add seated classes in the coming weeks depending on the course and duration of the virus. The summer term begins May 18 and runs through July 27. Students can choose from 10, 8 and 5-week schedule options. Learn more at summer.waketech.edu.

Current students can view available courses for both summer and fall and register online via Self Service. Self Service is open for registration 24 hours a day with the exception of Thursdays from 9 p.m. to Fridays at 6 a.m. for system backups.

Students should check the schedules often as new courses are being added frequently and delivery formats are being nailed down. Registration for the fall semester will remain open through mid-August.

The college is currently offering online advising for students. Students can learn more about how to connect with their advisor and schedule their virtual advising appointment at eagleq.waketech.edu.

Tuition doesn’t have to be paid all at once. Wake Tech offers a payment plan through Nelnet. Learn more at payment.waketech.edu.
