College Hosting Job Fair October 8

RALEIGH, N.C. (October 1, 2026) – Wake Tech is inviting job seekers to explore career opportunities at North Carolina's largest community college during a Job Fair on from 2 to 7 p.m. October 8 in the Southern Wake Campus Conference Center in Building L.

The college is recruiting candidates for a variety of full- and part-time faculty positions in both degree and non-degree programs, as well as select staff openings across the college.

Representatives from a range of academic programs and departments will be available to meet with candidates, review resumes and conduct initial interviews. Participating areas include Biotechnology, Business Administration, Culinary Arts, Dental Hygiene, Engineering, Fire and EMS, Liberal Arts, Mathematics & Sciences, Nursing and Skilled Trades. Staff representatives from Academic Advising, Career Services, Facilities, Financial Aid, IT Services, College Police, Registration & Records and the Tutoring and Learning Center will also be on hand.

Computers will be available for job seekers to complete employment applications on site and upload resumes for consideration for future openings.

In addition, Wake Tech Career Services staff will provide job-search support, including resume guidance and other employment resources.

As Wake County continues to grow, Wake Tech is expanding its workforce to support students through high-quality instruction, services and workforce training programs.

The Job Fair is free and open to the public.

Wake Tech serves more than 76,000 adults annually across nine campuses and training sites throughout Wake County, as well as through a comprehensive array of online learning options. The college employs more than 3,100 faculty and staff members dedicated to student success, workforce development and strengthening the talent pipeline for employers across the region. The college offers more than 250 associate degree, diploma and certificate programs that prepare students for university transfer or immediate employment, along with short-term workforce training, public safety education and training, customized corporate training, small-business support and adult education programs.
