The Associate in Fine Arts (AFA) in Visual Arts is a university transfer degree designed to prepare students for a BA or BFA in art or design and for professional practice. The AFA degree is a 60-credit-hour program that includes three required core studio art classes: 2D Design, 3D Design and Drawing I. Students may also take elective studio art classes aligned with their intended area of study.
The virtual exhibition features artwork created by students in the program's three core courses. The work reflects students' developing skills alongside the guidance and expertise of dedicated faculty. As practicing artists and educators, instructors bring diverse perspectives, technical knowledge and contemporary approaches into the classroom, supporting students as they build strong foundations and develop individual creative voices.
