Come join us for fun, fellowship and studying the Bible. This time is for everyone to come together and build a community on campus, and it is meant to encourage people to grow in their spiritual journey with Christ or give them the opportunity to know Christ!
We will be joined by Kerri James and Mark Palmer, who are both on staff with Cru.
Kerri graduated from King University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. After school, she began working in campus ministry at Ohio State University with Cru. After eight years, she and her husband decided to move closer to family as they prepared to have a baby girl. Kerri now serves in campus ministry at both North Carolina State University and Wake Tech.
Mark graduated from Duke University in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in Political Science, focused on International Relations. He led a short-term ministry team to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, in 1992 with Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru), and he remained in Central Asia until 2021 as director of student-led ministries for Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Mark was on the national leadership teams of both countries for Cru and was on the Central Asian regional leadership team. He founded and directed the Kamkorduk Academic Center in Bishkek. Mark and his wife live in Apex and have three adult daughters. He works for Faculty Commons, a ministry of Cru, at N.C. State.
