Graphic Design AAS

The Graphic Design curriculum equips students with the creative and technical skills needed for success in today’s design industry. Using industry-standard digital tools, students gain hands-on experience in both traditional and emerging areas of digital design.

Course material emphasizes:

  • Design theory and visual communication
  • Advertising and marketing best practices
  • Print production techniques
  • Web and UX design, including coding fundamentals
  • Social media marketing strategies
  • Multimedia, video production, and editing tools
  • Typography theory and application

Students will be trained to develop professional design solutions, such as:

  • Print and digital advertisements for newspapers and magazines
  • Posters, flyers, and promotional materials
  • Business collateral
  • Branding assets, including logos and icons
  • Brochures and booklets
  • Preparation of digital files for print production

Graduates should qualify for employment opportunities with the following:
