Wake Tech is closed Monday for the Labor Day holiday. Prospective students can still apply online, and current students can register for mini-mester courses. All classes will resume and offices will reopen Tuesday morning.
Pryce Baldwin, a retired Wake County educator, and Michael Wood, of Penn State University, bring a wealth of experience working with diverse student populations ranging from middle school to universities, with a special emphasis on males of color. Dr. Wood works with the Penn State Black and Latino Male Empowerment Group.
Garner resident Pryce Baldwin Jr. is a retired educator who was also an administrator for the Helping Hands Project of the Wake County Public School System. The project provided African American mentors for African American boys in elementary and middle schools.
