Wake Tech is closed December 24 through January 4 for winter break and will reopen January 5. Prospective students can still apply for enrollment online during the break, and continuing students can register for Spring semester classes, which start January 7.

Certificate Programs

  • The Front-End Developer Certificate focuses on creating the user interface (UI) of a website or web application, the part users see and interact with.

  • The UX Design Certificate is an introductory program that covers the foundational skills to create user experience mock-ups for websites and apps using Figma.

  • NOTE: This program is being terminated and isn't accepting new students. Faculty advisors will work with current students to ensure they complete their certificates by May 2027.

    The Web Designer Certificate program uses industry-standard technologies to design and develop basic full and mobile web sites.

  • The Web Development Basics Certificate teaches basic web technology concepts for beginning web designers and developers.
