College Closed for Thanksgiving

Wake Tech is closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. Prospective students can still apply online, and current students can register for Spring semester classes. All classes will resume and offices will reopen on Monday morning.

  • Elizabeth City State University (1891)
  • North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University (1891)
  • Winston-Salem State University (1892)
  • North Carolina Central University (1910)

Representatives from the schools' history departments provide insights about the founding and progression of each of the universities.
