Hours for the in-person tutoring are determined by each program.
Nursing skills practice also is available during open lab time. Nursing students should consider joining or forming a study group. Study group and peer tutor guidelines are available on the Nursing News Blackboard site.
In-person support for biology, nursing, medical assisting and math courses is available at the Science Tutoring and Learning Center (TLC) on Perry Health Sciences Campus. Students can receive assistance through walk-in tutoring or by scheduling an appointment with a tutor.
TLC also offers NUR Ongoing Ways of Learning (OWL) sessions on the Perry Health Sciences Campus to support Nursing and Practical Nursing students' understanding of theory and content. Students do not have to book an appointment for this walk-in service.
