Check Financial Aid Status
Students may check their status by logging into Self Service at http://selfserve.waketech.edu.
- Click the "Financial Information" icon (2nd icon down) in the left navigation
- Click "Financial Aid"
- Select "My Awards"
You will be able to view all of the documents that the Financial Aid Office has requested from you and you can determine if documents have been received in our office.
Action Needed: Document(s) not received by Financial Aid Office. Submit items requested as soon as possible. Be sure to follow the posted deadline for paperwork submission.
Incomplete: Document has been reviewed and determined to be incomplete.
Received: Document has been reviewed and determined to be complete.
Waived: Document waived- no action is needed.
Documents may be downloaded from the verification documents page. If you are not sure what documents you need, please contact your Financial Aid Specialist.
Please note that typical processing time is 4 weeks from the date documents are submitted. If corrections are required, it may take five to seven days before the correction is processed, reviewed, and the final award posted. Once the final award is processed, it is viewable immediately on SelfServe. An email notice will be sent to your my.waketech.edu email account as well.
Once your aid has been determined, an award notification will be e-mailed to you. This notification contains important information regarding the terms and conditions of your award. It is imperative that you read it completely. Please contact the Financial Aid Office if you have any questions.
