Wake Tech Capital Meeting

Wake Tech Capital will host Sam Shiah, founder of Wall Street Mastermind, for a discussion on breaking into finance as a transfer student.

Sam began his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley before joining GI Partners in private equity. He will share insights from his career, lessons learned from recruiting and advice for students preparing to enter the finance industry after transferring to a four-year university.

Following Sam's discussion, Wake Tech Capital will lead an instructional session covering key financial concepts and walk through a live financial model. This portion will help students strengthen their technical understanding of valuation and financial analysis.
