Need Help With Your FAFSA?

Wake Tech is hosting FAFSA Day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, when Financial Aid Office representatives can help students and their families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The event is at Scott Northern Wake Campus, Building C, and Southern Wake Campus, Building L. Advance registration is encouraged.

Wake Review Literary Magazine

As Wake Tech's only student literary and artistic publication, the mission of The Wake Review is to provide a creative outlet for the college's students, faculty and staff – we believe Wake Tech should always have a place for its creative voice.

Submissions

The magazine accepts content in fiction, non-fiction, poetry, photography and multimedia art. Everything from short stories, essays, poems and screenplays to pictures, sketches, paintings, computer design images, videos and even music – you name it, we likely accept it. Submissions should be emailed to [email protected] by January 31.

Submissions by students, faculty and staff must follow specific rules to be considered for publication.

Cash prizes are awarded to students for the winning submissions in each category – $75 for first place, $50 for second and $25 for third – as well as $100 for the cover image.

If you don't feel like submitting your work but still want to play a role in creating the magazine, come to The Wake Review's club meetings. Writing workshops also are available for anyone interested in having their visual and/or written art reviewed by club members and magazine editors.
