Healthcare IT Professional Part 2

This course is a continuation of Part 1, teaching professionals how to support the use of technology in health care settings. Specific responsibilities vary according to position, but could include installing and maintaining electronic health record systems, working as part of an internal IT team or providing technical support to employees throughout a health care facility.

Course Objectives

Learn to navigate a Windows operating system environment, as well as install and operate basic software utilities

Define wireless standards and be able to describe the appropriate arrangement of wireless routers

Identify potential hazards to mobile devices and be able to mitigate those dangers, both physical and software-based
