Introduction to the Kanban method, a method that helps you manage the work you do now, so that you can improve the way you deliver and evolve your business to better suite your customers' needs. Topics covered in this training include:
• Push vs Pull Systems
• Kanban Fundamentals (Definitions,
Principles, and Practices)
• Flight Levels
• Limiting Work-In-Progress (Little's Law)
• Visualizing the Flow of Work
• Measuring and Charting Work
• STATIK (getting started with Kanban)
• Classes of Service
• Handling Flow Problems
• Inspecting and Improving

Course Objectives

Align current Scrum and Agile practices and set a baseline for the team to work within the Scrum framework.

Understand Kanban principles and how to put them into practice to address common issues faced by organizations. This includes delays, disruptions caused by unplanned activities, slowness to react, overburden, and poor quality.

Learn how Kanban fits in fits in different contexts, such as product development and service delivery.

Learn why workflow slows down or stops, and how to deal with overburden, bottlenecks and queues.

Develop a Kanban system within your desired context.
