General Admissions Procedures
- If you graduated from a US high school, you will be admitted and placed in classes based on your unweighted GPA (COVID 19 Exception), or by other admission placement criteria.
- If you graduated high school outside of the US, you need to determine additional steps.
Steps for Admissions
Step 1. Complete NC Residency Determination
Step 2. Submit an Online Application to be a Wake Tech Student
Step 3. Submit Official Transcript(s)Request official transcript(s) from high school, or high school equivalency, and previous college(s). Transcripts may be sent electronically to [email protected] or mailed to:

Step 5. Activate Your Wake Tech Account
Step 6. Meet with an Advisor
Step 7. Complete New Student Orientation
Online Courses
Take Online Learning Readiness Assessment If you are enrolling in online courses, you will need to complete the e-Learning Module.
