The Public Safety Education Campus is a CALEA®-accredited Training Academy. It has a state-of-the-art forensics lab, an incident command center, simulation and defensive tactics rooms, a firing range and a mock courtroom and jail. The campus offers Associate in Applied Science degrees in Criminal Justice and Public Safety Administration. It also offers Basic Law Enforcement Training and in-service training for the following:
Law enforcement and corrections officers
Fire and rescue personnel
EMS technicians
State Bureau of Investigation agents
U.S. Department of Homeland Security personnel
The campus also offers short-term, non-degree courses for workforce licensures and certifications.
