RTP Bio is a unique collaboration between Wake Tech and Durham Tech, offering increased biotechnology career opportunities for students and graduates of both institutions. It also strengthens the talent pipeline for life science companies in the Triangle region, which is the fifth-largest biotechnology hub in the U.S.

The RTP Bio program offers the following advantages:

• Transfer opportunities
  Students can begin at either Wake Tech or Durham Tech and then transfer to the other institution to earn an associate degree in one of the following programs:
  • Biotechnology (Wake Tech)
  • Clinical Trials Research Associate (Durham Tech)
  • Biomedical Equipment Technology (Durham Tech)
  • Biomanufacturing (Durham Tech)
