Frequently Asked Questions - Non-degree Student

I’m enrolled in a non-degree continuing education course. What will happen to my class?

Workforce Continuing Education courses, except those offered online, have been suspended. Online non-credit courses will continue.

Will I be allowed to finish the class?

Online classes will continue.  If your class is face-to-face, it may be postponed or canceled.  If a class is postponed, new dates will be identified, and the class will be rescheduled.

Am I eligible for a refund if my class is postponed or rescheduled?

If a class is postponed or rescheduled, students in that class will be contacted about their availability to attend the new class date. If students are unavailable, they will receive up to a full refund, depending on the amount of instruction already received.

To request a refund:

What if I’m registered for a face-to-face class that the college cancels before it begins?

In the event that a class is canceled by the college prior to the first day of class, the college will automatically issue refunds. Students do not need to do anything.

I have questions about the status of my non-degree WCE class. Who should I contact?

If you have additional questions or issues with requesting a refund, please contact your instructor or email the WCE registrar’s office at [email protected].
