The Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) Program at Central Carolina Community College is a federally funded educational program which prepares veterans for post-secondary education. The VUB Program at CCCC serves veterans from Lee County, Harnett County, Chatham County, Johnston County, and Wake County. Eligible participants will receive mentoring, tutoring, academic instruction, and advising services to prepare them for a program of post-secondary education.
If you are interested in participating in the Veterans Upward Bound Program, please follow the below instructions in order to complete the application process:
1.Complete the entire application packet by supplying all of the required information as outlined.
2.Submit a copy of applicant's DD Form 214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty).
3.Submit a copy of applicant's high school transcript or a transcript of other high school completion (GED scores, etc.) or unofficial college transcript(s), if applicable.
4.Return the completed application to: Veterans Upward Bound Program, Attn: Office of TRIO Programs, Central Carolina Community College, 1105 Kelly Drive, Sanford, NC 27330.
