Wake Tech is closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Prospective students can still apply online. The college will reopen Tuesday morning.
Join in a conversation led by student hosts Taj Hewitt and Damien Johnson about the Morrill Act of 1862 and the Morrill Act of 1890 and the establishment of land-grant colleges. Special guests include the following:
Jenny Aguilera, Wake Tech Student Senate president and a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council representative
Valentin Hernandez Martinez, a Wake Tech Associate in Engineering student and History Club member
Wake Tech History instructor Dr. James Wils, who also is History Club advisor
