Wake Tech is closed December 24 through January 4 for winter break and will reopen January 5. Prospective students can still apply for enrollment online during the break, and continuing students can register for Spring semester classes, which start January 7.
Pryce Baldwin, a retired Wake County educator, and Michael Wood, of Penn State University, bring a wealth of experience working with diverse student populations ranging from middle school to universities, with a special emphasis on males of color. Garner resident Pryce Baldwin Jr. is a retired educator who was also an administrator for the Helping Hands Project of the Wake County Public School System. The project provided African American mentors for African American boys in elementary and middle schools.
