Thank you for your interest in employing Wake Tech students! We want to help you connect with qualified job candidates with one or more of the methods below.

Post a Job

College Central Network (CCN) is Wake Tech’s FREE, online job board.  Once jobs are posted to the job board, over 7,000 students and 6,000 alumni are able to access the information and receive job alerts targeted towards their area of study.

To register, visit http://www.collegecentral.com/waketech/ and choose the employers link to create an account.

Recruit on Campus

On-Campus Recruiting is a great opportunity to streamline your recruiting efforts, connect with talented Wake Tech students and increase the visibility of your organization. In order to connect with the right candidates, we encourage posting your positions on College Central Network (CCN).  By having access to the targeted positions, time and location for interacting with students will be selected.

Participation in a Networking Night is an effective way to talk with students about current opportunities, explain the necessary qualifications and expectations of the positions and to meet with students one on one in an informal networking session.

Participate in Speaker Programs as part of a class, or an open lunch and learn visit. It is a great way to connect with students on campus.  Our faculty appreciates these visits as they provide a casual atmosphere for students to learn about “a day in the life”.

Host a Job Shadow day at your location to provide “a day in the life” opportunity for interested students.

Work-Based Learning Opportunity

At Wake Tech, students have several different opportunities for gaining practical work experience while pursuing a degree. Work-Based Learning (Co-op) allows students to apply what they have learned in the classroom in an actual workplace setting. Students work for an employer in a position directly related to their field of study. https://www.waketech.edu/programs-courses/credit/work-based-learning
