All Wake Tech campuses are closed Monday, March 16, 2026, due to forecasts of severe weather. Although the college is on spring break, many non-degree classes are still held this week. Students taking non-degree classes in person should check with their instructors for more information. Online non-degree classes continue as scheduled. Many Wake Tech student services, including Admissions and Advising, are available online at virtualsupport.waketech.edu. Wake Tech employees who can work remotely should do so.
The team provides specialized advising and coaching support for students pursuing an Associate in Engineering degree who plan to transfer to a four-year university and Associate in Applied Science degree students in the following programs:
Each student is assigned to an academic advisor within his or her care team. To find your advisor, go to Self-Service, click "Student Planning," then "Plan and Schedule" and then the "Advising" tab.
Advising is available on a walk-in basis from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. You can also have a virtual drop-in.
